Calibratory calculations for the Zeeman effect

  • 1. Hull Univ. (UK). Dept. of Physics

Description

An efficient method of partitioning the Zeeman Hamiltonian is described, and applied in detail to the hydrogen atom. A speedy and accurate series method for handling the radial Schroedinger equation is used in the numerical calculations. (author)
