Study of the Dynamics of the Lattice of a MgF2 Monocrystal by Inelastic Neutron Scattering

Description
By analysing the inelastic neutron scattering in a MgF2 monocrystal with a tripie-axis spectrometer, the phonon dispersion relations were determined. This study was made to prove the calculations of the two-phonon process for the i.r. and Raman spectra of MgF2. (author)

Les auteurs ont déterminé, par l'analyse de la diffusion inélastique de neutrons lents d'un monocristal de ñuorure de magnésium à l'aide d'un spectromètre à trois axes, des relations de dispersion de phonons. Cette étude a pour but de fournir des renseignements pour calculer les processus à deux phonons dans les spectres infra-rouges et Raman du MgF2. (author)Additional details
