Associated average charged particle multiplicities in K+p interactions at 32GeV/c

Description

The average charged particle multiplicities, in the reactions K+p→K0X, K+p→π-X, K+p→pX and K+p→Δ++(1236)X at 32GeV/c are studied as functions of the mass squared Msub(X)sup(2) of the associated system X. A comparison with the corresponding results obtained at lower incident momenta and with other incident particles is presented

Abstract (French)

Les multiplicites moyennes des particules chargees dans les reactions K+p→K0X, K+p→π-X, K+p→pX et K+p→Δ++(1236)X a 32 GeV/c sont etudiees en fonction du carre de la masse M(X)2 du systeme X associe. On presente une comparaison avec les resultats correspondants obtenus a plus faible impulsion incidente et avec d'autres particules incidentes
