Description
Proton conductivity of UO2HPO4x4H2O in the 290-375 K temperature range under conditions excluding dehydration is studied. A jump observed in the temperature dependence of conductivity at 328 K is caused by phase transformation of the substance. The activation energies of conductivity in different parts of the curve are (31+-3) KJ/mol. The values of mobility, diffusion coefficient and jump-over time of charge carriers determined using the conductivity values at 300-340 K indicate that protons rather than H3O+ ions are responsible for charge transfer
