Description
Sphalerite boron nitride samples with ESR spectra whese the only signal with g = 2.0030 is recorded, are subjected to irradiation with reactor neutrons and fast electrons (4.5 MeV). It is ascertained that neutron irradiation of sphalerite boron nitride as well as plastic deformation cause the occurrence of a line with g-factor close to 2.006 in ESR spectra, which is conditioned by the production of defect associations based on nitrogen vacancies and interstitial atoms which are intensively annealed under heat treatment. An assu, ption is made that signal with g = 2.003 is conditioned by Frenkel pair type defects. The presence of radiation defects cansed by neutron and electron irradiation, effects sufficiently BNsph defect reconstruction under annealing, which is manifested in the ESR line splitting
