Determination of platinum group metals and gold by stripping voltammetry

  • 1. Tomskij Politekhnicheskij Inst., Tomsk (USSR)

Description

The determination of platinum group metals and gold by the method of inversion voltammetry (IV) was considered in the review. IV in combination with voltammetry permits to determine easily enough platinum metals and gold in natural materials where the element content varies from several per cent to 10-9-10-8 %. The determination of ruthenium and osmium can not be carried out using a mercury-graphite electrode. Ruthenium determination by IV method should be preceded by its separation from other platinum elements
