Thermally simulated current study of traps in *g-ray irradiated linear low density polyethylene
Description
In this experiment, the linear low density polyethylene(LLD-PE), made with low pressure method was used. The LLD-PE is in the copolymerized body made up of the high-density polyethylene and comonomer of *a-olefine (propylene), which has the structure of many short chain branches on the main chain. LLD-PE has the density almost the same as the low density polyethylene(LD-PE), but has relatively high tensile and tear intensity and good mechanical properties such as stress rack and high-temperature characteristics compared to the LD-PE. And it is also expected to be a good insulator material. But since little about its electrical characteristics was reported, the LLD-PE was irradiated by *g-ray to trap the carrier in the sample, then, TSC was measured on the basis of the thermal released trap at temperatures from -120degC to 110degC and through the dispersion mechanism the relation of the molecular motion was tested.
