Combined use of computerized tomography and gamma-topography in orbital diseases

Description
The results of combined investigation of 103 patients with primary, secondary, benign and malignant orbital tumors and pseudotumors are analyzed. CT high efficacy in the above tumors was shown. The results of γ-topography (GT) of the orbit were shown to depend on the volume of a tumor and its histological type. The combined use of CT and GT made it possible to raise the significance of preoperative diagnosis and to predict organsparing therapy
