Use of multidimensional evaluation for estimation of antihypoxic therapy action in the early period after lethal irradiation
Description
Rabbits were exposed to vertically directed UV-B-radiation (280-320 nm) 5 days a week during 10 monthes with daily dose 6.5 J/m2 (biological effecive daily dose 0.83 J/m2). Within the first week expressed photokeratoconjuktivitis was observed, but to the end of third week state of cornea and conjunktiva became practically normal. Transparency of intra-eye structures was unchanged, functional activity of retina underwent undulatory alterations. Amplitude changes of a- and b-waves of electroretinogram reached 30 % of control values during the first, were negligible within the second, and exceed control by 15-20 % between 8 and 10-th monthes of exposure. Critical frequency of flashing was unchanged
