On the structure of magnetic fields of active regions

Description

The inverse problem on the magnetic field structure of an active region is solved. The tangential-field directions prescribed by fibril orientation are used as initial data. The problem is shown to have a solution determined up to a factor common to the total distribution, both in terms of the potential approximation and in the case of a force-free field. The field models corresponding to the real structures are presented
