Description
Layer type molybdenum sulphoselenides (MoS/sub x/Se/sub 2-x/, 0 <= x <= 2) are grown by direct vapour transport technique. The photoelectrochemical solar cells are fabricated using the grown single crystals as photoelectrode and platinum grid as counter electrode. The location of valence and conduction band edges and the flat band potentials are evaluated using Mott-Schottky plots. The results obtained are discussed in detail. (author)
