Structure and properties of Y-Ba-Cu-O ceramics obtained by various methods

Description

The structure, mechanical and electrical properties of high temperature superconducting ceramics YBa2Cu3O6.98 obtained by sintering and self-expanding high-temperature sysnthesis(SEHTS) were studied. Neutron diffraction and X-ray diffraction measurements have shown that there is no essential differences in their crystal lattice parameters. It was shown that samples prepared by SEHTS have higher mechanical characteristics and critical transition temperature than samples prepared by sintering
