Control of electronegative impurity content in liquid krypton by means of an emission detector

Description
Technique to control the electronegative impurity content in the condensed dielectrics, bearing radiactive impurities, for example, in liquid krypton, which natural mixture of isotopes contains 85Kr β-active isotope, is suggested. Length of electron drift before their capture by electronegative impurities in 8 dm3 volume liquid krypton is measured by means of this technique. It constituted 3.3±0.5 cm after krypton purification in gaseous state using kieselguhr-base nickel getter
