Regularities in behavior of the Stark widths of the spectral lines of the ns-n'p and np-n's transitions for Li-like ions

  • 1. Physics Department, Kazan State University, Kazan 420008 (Russian Federation)

Description

The authors try to obtain the more general regularities describing the behavior of the widths of the s- and p- levels of many atoms and ions. Using these regularities the theoretical estimates of the line widths for the different ions were obtained. They have a good agreement with the experimental results. In many cases the obtained results allow one to better describe the experimental widths of the spectral lines (for ions FVII and NeVIII). The similar regularities allow to determine the Stark parameters of many spectral lines (to 106) rather quickly and surely, except the complex calculating procedures
