Computer reconstruction of pseudoholograms obtained from a fission gamma source
Description
Pseudoholograms obtained with a Fresnel zone plate coded aperture have been reconstructed using digital computer techniques. The object was a 252Cf fission gamma source. The digital reconstruction procedure and its advantages relative to analog techniques is discussed. Image reconstructions indicate transverse and longitudinal resolutions on the order of millimeters. Several digital enhancement options are available. Plans for improved results are discussed
