Significance of non-coplanar degree-of-freedom for non-compound nucleus effects in 196Pt* at higher excitation energies

Recently, non-coplanar degree-of-freedom (Φ=00) is found to be a significant degree-of-freedom in the Dynamical Cluster-decay Model (DCM). The only parameter of the model is the neck-length parameter, which varies smoothly with the temperature of the compound nucleus. In the case of 105Ag*, we found an interesting result that the compound nucleus fusion probability PCN for the coplanar nuclei (degree-of-freedom Φ = 00) gave an unphysical result for PCN fallen in the class of superheavy nuclei, but on inclusion of Φ this discrepancy gets removed and 105Ag* went back to the weakly fissioning group of nuclei though the non compound nucleus (nCN) contribution is then further increased. Also, in 246Bk* at higher energies, Φ=00 has shown the nCN contribution which becomes nullified on including Φ and so also is the case with 164Yb*. Such effects in 105Ag*, 164Yb* and 246Bk* has inspired us to include Φ in Pt-isotopes
