Oil-well tubing cleaning to remove salt-rich scales containing natural radionuclides
Description
The paper examines various aspects associated with the formation of radioactive scales within the lifting pipes used to extract oil. Tube cleaning methods are considered and testing results for a tube cleaning method based on the high pressure water jetting process are presented.
