Effective converter of Bremsstrahlung
Description
A scheme of increasing the efficiency of a converter of electron beam energy to Bremsstrahlung using a target in the magnetic field is presented. Experiments on complete 1 MeV, 100 kA beam absorption in a 5 μm thickness target under typical dimensions of radiation region of a source of < 50 mm are described
