Channel reactors: Status and prospects

Description
The effect of the Chernobyl accident on the future use of channel type reactors is discussed. Channel reactors in general, and the MKER-800 channel reactor design, are described. The MKER-800 is compared to five other types of reactors in terms of major technical aspects and economic indicators. The analysis shows that the MKER design is advantageous in practice
