Contribution of quasi-elastic knock-out mechanism to inclusive spectra of light fragments emitted to the back hemisphere

  • 1. Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR). Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Inst. Yadernoj Fiziki

Description

The quasi-elastic knock-out to invariant spectra of light fragments emitted at 0 to 150 MeV energy to the back hemisphere in the 1p-shell nuclear reactions with hadrons at an energy of the order on several GeV/nucleon is shown to make the basic contribution to the low-energy portion of the spectrum of fragments emitted at the 90 deg angle. The share of the mechanism considered in the observed cross section decreases with a growth in the finite particle energy, but remains substantial up to 150 MeV
