Description
The chapter reflects the remote past of our territory from the time of its first settlement and formation of the state. It is also dedicated to the historical aspects of map representation of Slovak's territory, development of the territorial and administrative division, formation of the frontiers of the state, and development of map production. It is supplemented by the survey of the most important figures of Slovakia in the field of cartography, geography, and the related sciences.
