Isotopic analysis facility using neutron capture
Creators

Description
Prompt gamma rays from capture of a themal neutron beam in 10-100g samples are detected with a Ge(Li)detector. Automated data analysis provides a versatile technique for determination of those elements with sufficiently high capture cross sections and branching ratios. This method is illustrated by results for chlorine in wheat and minerals in ores. (Auth.)
