Systematic Ground Motion and Macro-Alignment for Linear Colliders

Description

Future colliders with their (micro)m-range operational tolerances still need to be classically aligned to the 50 - 100 (micro)m range, and kept there, over the km range. This requirement will not be a show-stopper, but not be trivial either. 50 (micro)m ground movements over a betatron wavelength is the range where systematic long term motions can prevent efficient operation
