Probabilistic evaluation of destruction-free determined defects in weldment joints

Description
In this work the procedure for the probabilistic evaluation of the reliability of a complicated double weldment joint of a blanket in a fusion reactor is explained. For a methodical procedure a stochastic model is required to consider the uncertainties at the destruction-free proof of welding defects. Furthermore mechanical fracturing relations are necessary to evaluate the defects as well as a numeric procedure to calculate little probabilities for reliability statements. Apart from the reliability statement, some advice for the choice of appropriate inspection strategies can be obtained. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
In diesem Beitrag wird das Vorgehen bei der probabilistischen Bewertung der Zuverlaessigkeit einer komplizierten Doppelschweissnaht eines Blankets in einem Fusionsreaktor betrachtet. Methodisch benoetigt man dabei ein stochastisches Modell zur Beruecksichtigung der Unsicherheiten beim zerstoerungsfreien Nachweis von Schweissfehlern, bruchmechanische Beziehungen zur Fehlerbewertung sowie entsprechende numerische Verfahren zur Berechnung kleiner Wahrscheinlichkeiten fuer Zuverlaessigkeitsaussagen. Neben Zuverlaessigkeitsaussagen erhaelt man noch Hinweise fuer die Wahl sinnvoller Inspektionsstrategien. (orig.)Additional details
