Description

Because of its particular sedimentary characteristics, a lot of sandstone-type uranium deposits are discovered in the meso-cenozoic basin, and its host rocks are considered to be medium-to-fine sandstone. In order to find out uranium mineral types of the sandstone-type uranium deposits and its occurrence state, quantitative and qualitative analysis are carried out by electron probe Modern analysis test method. From the analysis results, it is found that the uranium minerals mainly include coffinite, swamboite, uraninite, brannerite, zellerite, uranothorite, and Uranium carbonate mineral. Uranium minerals are symbiotic with Quartz, Albite, Pyrite and so on. Another existance is adsorption of Clay mineral and organic matter. in addition, Precipitation and concentration of uranium mineral have a close relationship with pH and Eh value in a sandstone formation.
