Description

The muon detector of the L3 experiment consists of 80 large drift chamber modules. In order to reach the quality aimed for, three systems have been developed: 1. a time calibration system TOCAL; 2. an electro-optical system RASNIK for the alignment of the wires in the chambers; 3. a display system Simple Watch for the detection of excess current indicating a HV breakdown.
