Thermal neutron capture in natural krypton

Description
The energies and intensities of γ-radiation from thermal neutron capture in natural krypton have been determined by means of a Ge(Li) pair and anti-Compton spectrometer. An internal reactor target has been used. The reaction Q-value and the energies of excited states resulting from the 83Kr(n,γ) 84Kr reaction have been deduced. The negative parity states of 84Kr are discussed.
