This paper discusses the global nuclear energy developments and the nuclear market after Fukushima. It concludes by suggesting that the world needs nuclear power, and furthermore that the operating nuclear power plants and new plants are competitive, support national security, enables economic growth and enables de carbonized base load electricity supplies.
