Description
Photoionization of Xe and Xe-C60 have been studied using the random phase approximation with exchange method and our C60 model potential. The Xe atom was described by relaxed orbitals including overlap integrals. The Schrödinger equation for Xe-C60 was solved using both regular and irregular solutions and the continuous boundary conditions at inner and outer radii of the C60 shell. Better photoionization results for both Xe atom and Xe-C60 molecule have been obtained and compared with the experimental data.
