Laser isotopic separation. Performance estimation

Description

Characteristics of a laser isotope separation plant are obtained by a simple model. Energy consumption is evaluated at about 100 KWh/SWU and the capacity of a module at about 106 SWU/year in the case of the atomic process applied for uranium

Un modele simple permet de degager quelques caracteristiques d'une installation de separation isotopique par laser. Prenant le cas du procede atomique applique a l'uranium, on evalue la consommation energetique a environ 100 KWh/UTS et la capacite d'un module a environ 106 UTS/an
