Description
The cross section of the reactions 646668Zn(n,p)and 64Zn(n,2 n) have been measured at neutron energies in the range from 14.1 to 14.6 MeV, by means of the neutron activation technique. For this purpose an accelerator based neutron generator with the reaction D,T has been used. The reaction 27AI(n,alpha)24Na was used for absolute neutron flux measurement during irradiation. The measured data were compared with some other experimental data as well as with some theoretical calculations. The measured data show relatively good agreement with the calculated one, while small discrepancies has been remarked with some previously reported data
