Description
The sample preparation of bone with inter-standard method is introduced in details. The contents of elements P, K, Sc, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn and Sr in radii bone of rabbits during fracture healing are determined by proton induced X-ray emission (PIXE). Various absorbers are tested to improve the PIXE spectra of bone samples and the PIXE spectra with much better quality are obtained using some kinds of combined absorbers. The regular changes of trace elements Sr and Fe in bone are shown as a concave shape and convex one respectively, during fracture healing period
