Determination of mixing enthalpies of solid solutions in the system Bi2O3-Y2O3 by the method of high-temperature dissolution calorimetry

Description
By the method of high-temperature dissolution calorimetry the dissolution enthalpies at 973 K of solid face centered cubic solutions (Bi2O3)1-x(Y2O3)x (x=0.25; 0.30; 037) and their oxide constituents are determined. On the basis of data obtained the mixing enthalpies of the solid solutions studied are calculated, which constitute 26.65±1.26; 27.45±1.67; 28.27±1.13 kJ/mol respectively
