Oak Ridge Associated Universities Institute for Energy Analysis research report 1986

Description

Since its establishment as an ORAU division in 1974, the Institute for Energy Analysis has operated as a think tank on energy issues. Its primary accomplishments have been in making the carbon dioxide problem a politically recognized issue and in contributing to the survival of nuclear power, issues discussed in books authored by IEA staff. In FY86, IEA continued to emphasize these and other long-term projects, while branching out into the areas of nuclear waste and renewable energy applications
