Description
We investigate the appearance of spin polarized states (magnetic polarons) in hole doped CuO2 layers in the high-Tc systems. Starting from a three-band Hubbard model which is treated in mean-field type approximation, the spin disturbed structure around a single hole is studied in detail. The change of the spin cluster polarisation towards metalisation in dependence of the hole concentration is discussed. In addition the influence of the structure of single hole clusters onto the behaviour of the phase separation is shown. (orig.)
