Two-photon physics at future colliders
Description
Three points are summarized in this review on (γγ) and (eγ) physics at future e+e-, ep and pp colliders. They are the luminosities derived from quasi-real Weizsacker-Williams photon spectra, Compton back-scattering, as well as from the intense beamstrahlung in linear high-energy e+e- colliders: QCD predictions for heavy quarkonium production, large angle exclusive meson pairs, jets and the γ structure function in the LEP/SLC energy regime; probing static properties of electroweak bosons, the standard and non-standard Higgs sector, and the production and decay properties of heavy excited electrons
