Description
In contrast to childhood, idiopathic intussusception in adults is quite rare. We report on the diagnosis (conventional plain x-ray films, sonography, coloscopy, enema) of a clinically atypical colo-colic invagination in a 29-year old woman. Since no tumour-releated cause was found, desinvagination by a water-soluble contrast enema material was successfully performed. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Im Gegensatz zum Kindesalter ist die idiopathische Intussusception bei Erwachsenen selten. Es wird ueber die Diagnose (Uebersichtsaufnahme, Sonographie, Koloskopie, Kontrasteinlauf) einer klinisch atypischen kolokolischen Invagination bei einer 29 Jahre alten Frau berichtet. Nachdem eine tumorbedingte Ursache nicht gefunden werden konnte, wurde die Desinvagination durch einen Kontrasteinlauf erfolgreich durchgefuehrt. (orig.)Additional details
