Process for electrochemical decomposition of nitric acid
Description
Nitric acid is to be decomposed by an electrochemical process producing mostly or exclusively nitrous oxide. In particular, nitric acid is to be removed from medium-level or high-level solutions of nuclear waste from reprocessing plants. The process is characterized so that the reaction is carried out in the presence of silver or silver ions. (orig.)
Availability note (English)
Available from Deutsches Patentamt, Muenchen (Germany, F.R.).Abstract (German)
(orig.)Additional details
