Nuclear Electric operations
Description
Nuclear Electric has eleven operating nuclear power stations, two Magnox stations currently being decommissioned and a small hydro station at Maentwrog in North Wales. There have been significant improvements in the overall plant performance during the first four years of Nuclear Electric's existence. This has been particularly evident at the AGR stations, but the Magnox plant has also seen improvements especially in reduced outage duration. This trend is set to continue with further initiatives in hand. (author)
