Description
X-ray characteristics of 4MeV betatron imported from the Tomsk Polytechnic University were investigated. On the betatron from Tomsk Polytechnic University, the accelerator mechanism, X-ray characteristics and X-ray imaging test results, which consist of X-ray energy distribution, dose distribution and dose rate, are stated. 1MeV betatron has been produced in the Tomsk Polytechnic University in corporation with the Hiroshima University. It is going to arrive at the Hiroshima University in the Fiscal 2004. After that, non-destructive tests of prestressed concrete and small hydroelectric power station will be carried out. (S.Y.)
