Rare earth tellurium oxochlorides: synthesis and X-ray diffraction characterization

Description
17 new rare earth-tellurium oxochlorides have been prepared. New phases of the composition Ln2TeO4Cl2 (Ln=Sm, Gd, Er), LnTeO3Cl (Ln=La, Nd, Sm. Gd, Er, Lu), LnTe2O5Cl (Ln=La, Nd, Sm, Gd, Er, Lu) have been characterized by means of X-ray diffraction. Problems of phase formation in the class of rare earth-tellurium lamellar oxohalides have been considered
