Simulation of the 24-phase rectifier by ICAP/4

Creators

  • 1. National Lab. for High Energy Physics, Tsukuba, Ibaraki (Japan)

Description

The 24-phase rectifier was simulated by a circuit simulation program, ICAP/4, to see the voltage and current ripple in the presence of line-voltage imbalances and an external disturbance at 20 Hz. The FFT analysis of the ripple showed the intensity variation of the 50 Hz harmonics and the appearance of 20 Hz component. The problem on using the ICAP/4 is also discussed. (author)
