Nuclei polarization process
Description
The process described polarizes first nuclei having a long relaxation time in a solid, in a strong magnetic field generated by direct current, the solid containing first nuclei with long relaxation times and second nuclei with short relaxation times. The process is characterized by the application of a strong magnetic field to the solid, produced by a direct current and the scanning of the solid with a high frequency field adequate enough to excite a significant number of second nuclei over a period of time as long as that required to polarize the first nuclei

On presente un procede pour polariser des premiers noyaux ayant un long temps de relaxation dans un solide, dans un champ magnetique eleve produit par un courant continu, le solide contenant des premiers noyaux ayant de longs temps de relaxation et des seconds noyaux ayant de courts temps de relaxation. Le procede est caracterise par l'application au solide d'un champ magnetique eleve, produit par un courant continu, et le balayage de ce solide avec un champ haute frequence suffisant pour exciter un nombre significatif de seconds noyaux pour une periode de temps au moins aussi longue que la periode de temps necessaire pour polariser les premiers noyauxAdditional details
