Superconducting T/sub c/ of (V/sub 0.87/Ti/sub 0.13/)3Ge: A test of a recent theoretical prediction

Description
We have measured the critical temperature of the A15 alloy (V/sub 0.87/Ti/sub 0.13/)3Ge and found it to be 5.8 K, which is smaller than that for V3Ge. This result is contrary to the theoretical expectation that T/sub c/ should be around 15 K in this system
