Description
The author begins with a brief survey of the general features of electron scattering and then concentrates on three particular topics: i) the analysis of elastic electron scattering to get charge distributions in a quite model independent way; ii) the study of giant resonances with electron scattering and iii) the (e,e'p) reactions. He ends with some information on the electron scattering facility at the 600 MeV linac of Saclay. (V.J.C.)
