Description
The behaviour of associative multiplicities is investigated for charged particles in π-p interactions at 40 GeV/c. The character of the associative multiplicity dependence on rapidity y* and on transverse momentum p1 is described in the framework of the diffraction excitation model proposed earlier. The existence of a theoretically predicted similarity relation, one of manifestations of self-similarity in strong interactions, is indicated experimentally
