SEM investigation of dissipative and wave-type structures in fluoride crystals of BaF2 · 2YF3:Er, Yb

Description
A study is made into the influence of annealing conditions on the stability of final structures formed in the process of crystallization self-organization. Single crystals of BaF2 · 2YF3 activated with Er3+ and Yb2+,3+ are under study. It is shown that there is a possibility to use the structures-attractors determining optical properties of activated fluoride single crystals as laser media for a short-wave range. SEM investigation results for single crystal structure are compared to the data of X-ray diffraction analysis

Исследовалось влияние режимов отжига на устойчивость сформированных в процессе кристаллизационной самоорганизации конечных структур. Изучались монокристаллы BaF2 · 2YF3, активированные ионами Er3+ и Yb2+,3+. Показана возможность использования структур-аттракторов, определяющих оптические свойства монокристаллов активированных фторидов, в качестве лазерных сред коротковолнового диапазона. Результаты исследования структуры монокристаллов методом РЭМ сопоставляются с данными рентгеноструктурного анализаAdditional details
