Physical properties of (ZnSe)/sub x/(CdTe)/sub 1-x/ multicomponent system films fabricated by CVD in hydrogen flow

Description
The crystallophysical, electrophysical, and optical properties of (ZnSe)/sub x/(CdTe)/sub 1-x/ films in the whole range of composition 0 <= x <= 1 fabricated by CVD in hydrogen flow are discussed. It is assumed that the significantly nonlinear behaviour of the band gap with film composition is caused by the physical nature of the Te atom. (author)
