Neutron diffraction investigation of the high-temperature superconducting ceramic YBa2Cu3O6.9
Description
Investigation of the superconducting phase transition (Tc = 90 K) of YBCO demonstrated that the physical properties and structural features of this ceramic depend substantially on the amount of O in the formula unit (6 ≤ x ≤ 7). In the present work, results are presented of full-profile refinement of the YBCO structural parameters for x = 6.9 using neutron diffraction powder data of a sample prepared by coprecipitation of a bicarbonate mixture of nitrate solutions
