Mean field analysis of a Z2-asymmetric gauge theory
Description
Using mean field techniques we study a Z2-gauge theory with asymmetric couplings for two kinds of plaquettes. Calculating O(1/d) corrections to the mean field approximation we obtain a phase diagram that agrees with Monte Carlo data. In addition, various points where equivalent continuum theories arise are analyzed within this approximation. (orig.)
